The Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery at LLH Hospital provides a full range of services, from the most common procedures to the highly specialized procedures. The department's mission is to provide high-quality surgical care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Our board-certified surgeons are highly trained and experienced in all aspects of general surgery, including appendicitis, gallbladder removal, hernia repair, colon cancer surgery, gastric bypass surgery (Roux-en-Y), removal of tumors and cysts, bariatric surgery (bariatric weight loss surgery), colorectal cancer surgery, duodenal switch procedure for weight loss (bariatric weight loss surgery), lumpectomy for breast cancer, chronic pain management from back surgeries or joint replacement surgeries, laparoscopic or minimally invasive procedures including bariatric procedures for weight loss such as gastric banding or sleeve gastrectomy as well as other laparoscopic procedures such as hysterectomy surgeries or prostatectomies.
